A bit of backstory:

Donatello had no intention of bringing any guests into the lair the day he decided to test out the hyperdimensional transmat device that he was building. Especially not any angry, bleeding guests who would singlehandedly destroy his lab, slice up Michelangelo, give Leonardo one hell of a knock on the head, stab Raphael in the arm, and bless Don himself with a concussion, all before having a shoulder dislocated by a royally pissed off Raph.

Okay, maybe it wasn’t singlehanded destruction - after all, Mike and Raph were involved - but total catastrophic failure had definitely NOT been in his calculations that day.

The good news was that his test attempt to tune into Usagi’s home dimension had worked. The bad news was that the transmat had been utterly demolished in the brawl, and the culprit was a battle-crazed samurai with a few stab wounds he had accidentally transported into their home. And the poor guy appeared to be stuck there, for all the use the transmat was to them now. It would take months to fix.

Except... He turned out to be a she, and she was in a really bad mood. She chilled out in the end, but it wasn't like anyone could understand her ranting in ancient Japanese for the first few weeks she was laid up in Raph's room, recuperating from her wounds, aside from Splinter. Turns out she had been trying to defend herself and her han's lord in an ambush when Don had sucked her out of her world and into theirs, and she was anxious to get home - but that clearly wasn't happening any time soon. And Raph was getting more and more ticked off that his room had been loaned out to their uninvited house guest by his generous older brother, since, as Leo and Don insisted, it was the closest to the bathroom.

When she was healed enough to wander around the lair on her own, she and Raph finally had it out, mano a mano. Several times. Raph's pride was wounded, his arm wasn't still quite back to normal, and she was gonna pay for hurting his bros. But she had just as many anger management issues as he seemed to have and refused to give in, fight after fight, no matter how badly they'd beat the crap out of each other.

And, Raph had to admit, he respected that in a girl.

Occupation: She was hired on by the Ichiyama clan as an incognito protector of the young han heir Ichiyama Hayata. In order to serve him better and have more mobility, she most often dressed as a young man and served as his page. At the time that she meets the guys, she had been a page, lover and secret advisor to Ichiyama Hayata - but he may have just been killed in a skirmish that she was a part of when Don's hyperdimensional transmat device accidentally pulled her through.
Talents/Skills: Is a skilled sword master, having learned swordsmanship and other skills from the yamabushi tengu of her mountain; knows some Shinto black magic and Shugendo sect mudras and chants
Habits: She is fond of drinking, and becomes loud, obnoxious, cocky and more critical of others that usual when drunk. She is pretty good at maintaining a poker face, although when she is younger, sometimes she is quick to anger and can’t help but react and make an ass of herself. She is a hungry lover and likes to be on top, but enjoys being dominated by the right guy (wink wink). She gambles and is fond of sweets. She is not usually talkative. In the mornings, she wakes up before sunrise, recites the Heart Sutra, and spends a few hours performing katas and sparring with Hayata or whoever is available. When she is confused about life, she will make a pilgrimage up into the mountains of her home and do some ascetic exercises in order to clear her mind and sort things out.
Hobbies: learning new fighting techniques, practicing and meditating, gambling, fishing, swimming, drinking, eating, occasionally playing the biwa, studying the tea ceremony, admiring nature (meditation)
Greatest flaws: Andy can be a bit tactless, selfish, and thoughtless, occasionally resulting in awkward moments. She is quick to anger, and sometimes, her rash reactions accidentally endanger herself and those around her. She is used to looking out for #1 and really has to care about someone in order to consider their needs and safety along with her own. She will not get involved in a problem unless she takes a personal interest in it, or when it begins to affect her liberty. Her mistrust of others makes her seem more secretive and unfriendly than she intends to be, but her dislike of others’ company keeps her from making any attempt to change this about herself.
Best qualities: Andy is honest, protective, trustworthy (for the right people), and has a strong sense of justice and honor that is not heavily influenced by her culture and society as much as it is shaped by her personal experiences with people and her understanding of how the world works. She is fearless and brave in the face of danger. Since she lost her family, she is hesitant to get to know people, but once she knows them, she is steadfastly loyal.
